1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349732-S04425564642009120800000) )
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation. NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349743-S08783415772009120800000) )
5. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349743-S08783415772009120800000) )
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349743-S08783415772009120800000) )
7. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349743-S08783415772009120800000) )
8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349743-S08783415772009120800000) )
9. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY Disconnect the connector. Detach the 3 clamps. Remove the 3 nuts and mirror.

1. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the mirror. Standard resistance: 3.6 to 4.0 ohms at 25°C (75°F) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the mirror heater. 1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY Install the mirror with the 3 nuts. Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) Attach the 3 clamps. Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-349743-S35863977312009120800000) )
3. INSTALL DOOR FRAME GARNISH (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-349743-S35863977312009120800000) )

8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION Perform initialization (see «INITIALIZATION»(ref-349706-S07943075812009120800000) ). NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR GLASS Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it. Using a molding remover, detach the 4 claws and separate the outer rear view mirror glass. HINT: Apply protective tape to the outer rear view mirror to prevent it from being damaged. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the mirror glass.

1. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR GLASS Connect the 3 connectors. Attach the 4 claws to install the mirror glass.
