CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS
- CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH TECHSTREAM (REFERENCE) NOTE: When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized. Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing. When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Select the setting by referring to the table below. - PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING TECHSTREAM When using the Techstream with the engine switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG).

INITIALIZATION
- RESET REAR DOOR SUNSHADE SYSTEM NOTE: The rear curtain position reset operation must be performed when one of the following occurs: 1) battery removal and installation; 2) ECU reset; or 3) jam protection related detachment. Turn the engine switch on. Push the front or rear switch's rear door sunshade switch. HINT: The motor must be moved in the lowering direction. Push the front or rear switch's rear door sunshade switch. HINT: Make sure that the rear curtain raises.
- RESET REAR DOOR SUNSHADE POSITION AFTER DETACHMENT NOTE: If the curtain is operating and detaches as a result of the jam protection function, the motor must be operated in the raise direction in order to return it to normal. If the motor is not returned to normal, the cover may not close properly during the lowering operation. After the rear curtain stops at the fully raised position, continue holding the switch for 5 seconds. Stopped --> Raising --> Stopped at fully raised position --> 5 sec.
