INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER BRACKET Install the No. 1 telematics transceiver bracket with the 2 screws.
  3. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket with the 3 screws.
  4. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY . Refer to «INSTALLATION - Step 5»(ref-398277-S29468340142011051600000)

  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System) NOTE: After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 2»(ref-398219-S28362000682011051600000)
  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 3»(ref-398219-S28362000682011051600000)
  4. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT RETAINER Disengage the 3 claws to remove the glove compartment retainer.
  5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the lower instrument cover LH.
  6. REMOVE BACK-UP BATTERY WITH BRACKET Disconnect the connector. Remove the bolt and back-up battery with bracket.
  7. REMOVE NO. 3 TELEPHONE BRACKET Remove the No. 3 telephone bracket from the back-up battery.
  8. REMOVE BACK-UP BATTERY
  1. INSTALL BACK-UP BATTERY
  2. INSTALL NO. 3 TELEPHONE BRACKET Install the No. 3 telephone bracket to the back-up battery.
  3. INSTALL BACK-UP BATTERY WITH BRACKET Install the back-up battery with bracket with the bolt. Connect the connector.
  4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH Engage the claw and 2 guides to install the lower instrument cover LH.
  5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT RETAINER Engage the 3 claws to install the glove compartment retainer.
  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL . Refer to «INSTALLATION - Step 2»(ref-398219-S33566720602011051600000)

  1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY Remove the roof headlining assembly. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-398252-S15408195102011051600000) .
  2. REMOVE TELEPHONE ANTENNA PROTECTOR Disengage the 4 claws. Disconnect the 2 connectors. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the telephone antenna protector.
  3. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA Remove the antenna nut. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the telephone and GPS antenna.

Scheme 174: INSTALLATION
  1. INSTALL TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the telephone and GPS antenna. Place the antenna cord in the cutout of the antenna nut. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *1 Cutout Install the telephone and GPS antenna with the antenna nut. Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf)
  2. INSTALL TELEPHONE ANTENNA PROTECTOR Engage the 2 claws and install the telephone antenna protector. Connect the 2 connectors. Engage the 4 claws.
  3. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY Install the roof headlining assembly. Refer to «INSTALLATION»(ref-398252-S11412627292011051600000) .

  1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY Remove the roof headlining assembly. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-398252-S15408195102011051600000) .
  2. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORDS (NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY) Disengage the 4 claws. Disconnect the 2 connectors. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the telephone and GPS antenna cords (No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly).
  1. INSTALL TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORDS (NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY) Engage the 6 clamps to install the telephone and GPS antenna cords (No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly). Connect the 2 connectors. Engage the 4 claws.
  2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY Install the roof headlining assembly. Refer to «INSTALLATION»(ref-398252-S11412627292011051600000) .
