SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

1. GENERAL The thin heater wires of the windshield deicer system are attached to the inside of the windshield and deice the window surface quickly. The system automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes.
2. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENT Component Outline DEICER Relay Receives windshield deicer activation request signals from windshield deicer switch on the multi-display and supplies power to windshield deicer wire. Windshield Deicer Wire Receives power from DEICER relay and heats windshield deicer wire.

DESCRIPTION

Pressing the windshield deicer switch with the power switch on (IG) causes the indicator to come on and the system to be activated. After approximately 15 minutes, the system automatically stops and the indicator goes off.
