- INSPECT DLC3 TERMINAL VOLTAGE (TS TERMINAL) Turn the power switch ON (IG). Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector. Standard voltage Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K16-12 (TS) - K16-4 (CG) Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V Turn the power switch OFF. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector. Standard resistance Tester Connection Specified Condition K16-4 (CG) - Body ground Below 1 ohms NG --> See step 3 OK: Go to next step
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR»(ref-386964-S15748959292011022400000) . RESULT Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is not output (when troubleshooting in accordance with the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) B DTC is output C C --> See step 7 B --> See step 9 A --> REPLACE ABSORBER CONTROL ECU
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - DLC3) Disconnect the A13 skid control ECU connector. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector. Standard resistance Tester Connection Specified Condition A13-25 (TS) - K16-12 (TS) Below 1 ohms K16-12 (TS) - Body ground 10 kohms or higher NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - BODY GROUND) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector. Standard resistance Tester Connection Specified Condition K16-4 (CG) - Body ground Below 1 ohms NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WARNING LIGHT (DLC3 TS INPUT) Using SST, connect the terminals 12 (TS) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3. SST: 09843-18040 Check that the engine and ABS warning lights are blinking. RESULT Result Proceed to Warning lights are blinking A Warning lights are not blinking B B --> See step 8 A: Go to next step
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR»(ref-386964-S15748959292011022400000) . RESULT Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is not output (when troubleshooting in accordance with the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) B DTC is output C C --> See next step B --> See step 9 A --> REPLACE ABSORBER CONTROL ECU
- REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS. Refer to «DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART»(ref-387091-S16670403232011022400000)
