DESCRIPTION

If 2 or more DTCs are output during the DTC check, one side of the CAN branch wire may be open. (One side of the CANH [branch wire] /CANL [branch wire] of the ECU and/or sensor is open.)

HINT: When DTCs other than U0122 are output, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by those DTCs first.   2. CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (SKID CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE) Disconnect the A15 skid control ECU connector. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector. Standard resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A15-9 (CANH) - A15-22 (CANL) Power switch OFF 54 to 69 ohms NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CANH, CANL) OK: Go to next step
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) Disconnect the A13 and A15 skid control ECU connectors. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors. Standard resistance Tester Connection Specified Condition A13-1 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 ohms A15-1 (GND4) - Body ground Below 1 ohms Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.   3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (YAW RATE SENSOR - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) Disconnect the K35 yaw rate sensor connector. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
