REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
- Using a screwdriver, push in on clip at front outside edge of switch panel.
- Push switch panel forward and remove it from armrest base and disconnect the electrical connectors.
- For installation, reverse the removal procedure.
- Remove the power window master switch. See «POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH»(ref-153002-S04901217132003031000000).
- Remove the front door trim panel. See «FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-153002-S39167957502003031000000).
- Remove the door frame garnish by removing the nut.
- Remove the tweeter speaker.
- Remove the outside rearview mirror by removing 3 bolts.
- Remove the speaker, driver door ECU and service hole cover.
- Remove the door glass. Remove the 2 bolts. (Scheme 10) Pull the glass out of the panel carefully.
- Remove the window regulator. (Scheme 11)
- For installation, reverse the removal procedure and note the following: When installing the window regulator, apply MP grease to the window regulator rollers. (Scheme 12) Torque the window regulator to 8 ft. lbs. (11 N.m). When installing the door glass, insert the shop rag inside the panel to prevent scratching the glass.

- Remove the door inside handle bezel, armrest base panel and rear door courtesy light.
- Remove the rear door trim panel. See «REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-153002-S00019339562003031000000).
- Remove the rear door speaker, door frame garnish, inside handle and rear door ECU.
- Remove the rear door inner weatherstrip using a scraper.
- Remove the service hole cover and rear door glass run.
- Remove the door glass by removing the 2 nuts. (Scheme 13)
- Remove the division bar by removing 2 bolts and a screw, then remove the rear door quarter window glass.
- Remove the window regulator. (Scheme 14)
- For installation, reverse the removal procedure and note the following: When installing the window regulator, apply adhesive MP grease to the window rollers. Torque the window regulator to 71 INCH. lbs. (8.0 N.m).
