Multifunction Electronic Modules: Removal & Installation Land Rover Freelander L359

INSTALLATION

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to «SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-531959-S27829531522013022000000) .
  3. If a new component has been installed, configure using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-531959-S27829531522013022000000) .
  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to «REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-531951-S06037986122013022000000) .
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to «SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-531959-S27829531522013022000000) .
  3. If a new component has been installed, configure using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.

Note. Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-531959-S27829531522013022000000) .
  2. Torque: 7 Nm
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system, calibrate a new module.
