Piston & Rod Assembly

Mark piston and rod assembly with corresponding cylinder number before removing. Install piston and rod assembly in cylinder block, with front mark on piston top toward timing belt side of engine. Ensure piston pin is free of wear and can be pressed smoothly into piston pin hole by hand.
