Inspection and Verification

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage. Visual Inspection Chart Electrical Fuse(s) Electrical connector(s) Wiring Harness
3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If the cause is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Jaguar Approved Diagnostic System.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Battery, Mounting and Cables»(ref-311319) .
2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to «Interior Trim and Ornamentation»(ref-311279) .
3. Disconnect the driver door module (DDM) electrical connectors.
4. Remove the DDM.
