1. Remove the transmission assembly. See «Transmission - 3.0L»(ref-311290-S22687272462009032500000) , «Transmission - 3.5L/4.2L»(ref-311290-S16186829812009032500000) and «Transmission - 2.7L Diesel»(ref-311290-S19817314882009032500000) .
2. Using the special tools, remove the torque converter. Drain any remaining fluid into a suitable container.
3. Using the special tools, remove the input shaft seal.
4. Clean and inspect the transmission housing seal face.
5. Using the special tool, install a new input shaft seal.
6. Using the special tools, install the torque converter.
