1. Remove the front seat track mounting cover (A). [Front] [Rear]
2. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the front seat assembly (A). Tightening torque: 34.3 ~ 53.9 N.m (3.5 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 25.3 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)
3. Disconnect the airbag connector (A), seat warmer & power seat switch connector (B), front seat belt buckle connector (C). [Driver's] [Passenger's]
4. Install in the reverse order of removal. Information SEAT MOUNTING BOLT INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Set the seat into the most rearward position. Check that each slide is locked, and then tighten the front mounting bolt temporarily. Set the seat into most forward position. Check that each slide is locked, and then Tighten the rear mounting bolt completely. Set the seat into the most rearward position. Check the front mounting bolt completely. Check that the seat operates to and fro smoothy and the locking portion locks properly.

Replacement

Note. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage. Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface. Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1. Remove the front seat pumping lever cap (A).
2. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the front seat pumping lever (B).
3. To, disengage the lock pin, pull the front seat recliner knob (A) after pushing lock pin hole (B) with the pointed instrument (C). NOTE: Be careful not to damage the lock pin.
4. Loosen the front seat shield outer cover mounting screws.
5. To remove the front seat shield outer cover (A), push the lock pin (B) in the direction of the arrow.
6. Disconnect the connector (A).
7. Install in the reverse order of removal. Information Make sure the connector is plugged in properly. Replace any damaged clips.

1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to «FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/seats/#front-seat) .
2. Remove the front seat shield outer cover. Refer to «FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/seats/#front-seat) .
3. Push the lock pin (B), remove the front seat headrest (A).
4. Remove the front seat lower protector (A).
5. Disconnect the front seat heater connector (A).
6. To disengage the lock pin (C), lift up the front seat back board (A) to the arrow direction with holding the bottom place (B). CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the lock pin.
7. Push the protector (A) by the front seat back frame.
8. Remove the front seat side protector (A).
9. Turn the front seat back cover inside out. Then pull out the headrest guides (A) while pinching the upper part of the guides, and remove them.
10. Remove the front seat back cover (A) from the front seat back frame.
11. After removing the Velcro tape (A) on the front of seat back and remove the front seat back cover (B).
12. Install in the reverse order of removal. Information Make sure the connector is plugged in properly. Replace any damaged clips.

1. Remove The Front Seat Shield Inner Cover. Refer To «FRONT SEAT SHIELD INNER COVER»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/seats/#front-seat) .
2. Remove the front seat shield outer cover. Refer to «FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/seats/#front-seat)
3. Remove the front seat lower protector (A).
4. Disconnect the front seat heater connectors (A).
5. Push the protector (A), and then front seat cushion cover (C) from the front seat cushion frame (B).
6. Remove the front seat cushion cover (A) from the front seat cushion frame.
7. After removing the Velcro tape (A) on the front of seat cushion and remove the front seat cushion cover (B).
8. Install in the reverse order of removal. Information Make sure the connector is plugged in properly. Replace any damaged clips.

2. Remove the front seat cushion cover. Refer to «FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/seats/#front-seat) .
3. After loosening the mounting bolts, then disconnect the front seat back frame assembly (A) and front seat cushion frame assembly (B). Tightening torque: 44.1 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.5 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)
4. Install in the reverse order of removal. Information Remove the side air bag for replacing side air bag installation seat. Refer to «SIDE AIRBAG (SAB) MODULE»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/airbag/#airbag-modules-clock-spring) . Before service, be fully aware of precautions and service procedure relevant to air bag. Refer to «SIDE AIRBAG (SAB) MODULE»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/airbag/#airbag-modules-clock-spring) .
