1. Disconnect the connectors for each motor. (Refer to Body - " «FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/seats/#seat-electrical) ") Slide motor Front height motor Rear height motor Lumbar support motor (Horizontal) Lumbar support motor (Vertical) Recline motor
2. With the battery connected directly to the motor terminals, check if the motors run smoothly.
3. Reverse the connections and check that the motor turns in reverse.
4. If there is an abnormality, replace the motors.

Installation

3. Remove the heater switch after loosening the screws. [A/T]
4. Remove the front tray cover (A). [M/T]
5. Remove the heater switch after loosening the screws.

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. Remove the power window switch after loosen the screws (3EA).

Driver/Passenger

1. Install the heater switch.
2. Install the floor console upper cover.
3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. Install the power window switch.
2. Install the rear door trim.
3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. Operate driver seat heater switch and check that continuity exists between the terminals. If there is no continuity, replace the seat heater switch.

Description

The ventilated seat system uses a Push method to cool the seat. A blower mounted in the seat generates the cool air, which then travels through ducts to the seat back and cushion.

3. Remove the back blower (A) after loosening the screws (2EA) and disconnecting the connector.

2. Remove the air ventilation unit (A) after loosening the screws (2EA) and disconnecting the connector.

1. Install the cushion blower.
2. Install the front seat assembly.

Back Blower

1. Install the back blower.
2. Install the front seat back cover.
3. Install the front seat assembly.

Air Ventilation Unit

1. Install the air ventilation unit.
2. Install the front seat assembly.
