Description

The seat operation function in PSM contains the following functions.

  1. Manual control(CAN Signal data from DDM to PDM) with manual switches (Slide Front/Rear, Recline Front/Rear, Front Height Up/Down, Rear Height Up/Down, Cushion Extension Front/Rear, Head Rest Up/Down).
  2. Playback with position switches (P1 and P2 switches).
  3. Memory with position switches (P1 and P2 switches).
  4. Easy Access operation controls seat position according to the IGN SW PSM = Key Off --> Key Off exception or IGN SW PSM = Key Off exception --> Key Off
  5. Easy Entry Position Renewal
  6. During PlayBack, Easy Access operation
  7. Arbitration control
  8. Detecting error
  9. Notice (Manual, Memory Playback, Easy Access operation)

  1. Manual control(CAN Data signal from DDM to PSM) with direction switches Seat operation is carried out in PSM according to user handling of manual switches when the following conditions are satisfied. Manual Switches ON (Slide Front/Rear, Recline Front/Rear, Front Height Up/Down, Rear Height Up/Down, Head Rest Up/Down, Cushion Extension Front/Rear) PSM is different from a value of maximum continuous time for each motors Slide: 20s +/- 2s Recline: 35s +/- 3s Front Height: 10s +/- 1s Rear Height: 20s +/- 1.5s Head Rest: 10s +/- 1s Cushion Extension: 15s +/- 1s Manual(CAN Data signal from DDM to PSM) has priority although self-diagnosis actuator operation order is received (actuator operation ignorance)
  2. Playback With Position Switches PSM controls a seat position according to memorized position by memory function, and PSM has 2 memories for position that is selected by CAN signal of P Back P1 CMD and P Back P2 CMD command. The playback prohibition (start) conditions The playback stop conditions Exception) Playback is done without halt at P position=Not P, while playback in B+ after IGN SW = OFF --> KEY IN The playback halt play conditions If IGN SW PSM state changes IGN SW PSM=IGN --> ST during playback, playback is temporarily stopped, but if it returns to IGN SW PSM=IGN state, playback is done to a memorized position after 100ms But if IGN SW PSM=ST state is more than 30 seconds, playback is not done even though IGN SW PSM state returns to IGN SW PSM = IGN Playback and Buzzer output If CAN signal P Back P1 CMD or P Back P2 CMD receive ON, Seat moves to a memorized position Buzzer output is done even though seat is error state But, if seat position was not memorized, buzzer output is not done The notice about playback No memorized playback CAN signals are not done playback If other playback CAN signals are received during playback, the last CAN signal have a priority playback If the same playback CAN signal is repeatedly received, a position is never moved If the difference between memorized position and present position are less than the regulation pulse(**1), motor is not move Slide and Recline are less than 12Edge(6Pulse), Fr Hg, Rr Hgt, Cushion Extension and head rest are less than 8Edge(4Pulse).
  3. Memory with position switches PSM memorizes position once if one of Mem P1 CMD or Mem P2 CMD command is changed to ON. Memory enable CAN signal Mem ENB = Enable Memory operation If CAN signal Mem P1 CMD=P1 or Mem P2 CMD=P2 is received, PSM memorizes a present seat position The notice about memory Memory must not be clear even though battery was removed. Control when motor running direction is a reversed turn When motor want to move a reverse turn, it is immediately stopped and move to a reverse turn after 100ms

The Tilt & Telescope operation function in SCM contains of the following function.

  1. Manual control with direction switches (Tilt Up/Down, Telescope Forward/Backward).
  2. Playback with position switches (P1 and P2 switches).
  3. Memory with position switches (P1 and P2 switches).
  4. Easy Access operation control according to the IGN SW SCM = Key Off-->Key Off exception or IGN SW SCM=Key Off exception --> Key Off
  5. Easy Entry Position Renewal
  6. Arbitration control
  7. Detecting error
  8. Notice (Manual, Memory Playback, Easy Access operation)

Mechanical Limit Setting By Normal Operation (TILT)

  1. The initial SOFT LIMIT is set 8000H (It can't work as SOFT LIMIT)
  2. The mechanical LIMIT is renewal by MANUAL SW of TILT to up or down.
  3. If 4 pulse is not occurred in 1 sec. in running to up or down direction at the first time, the mechanical LIMIT is set.
  4. In case of the difference of both limit pulse is over 100pulse, SOFT LIMIT is set at ±12PULSE from Mechanical limit.

Mechanical Limit Setting By Normal Operation (TELE)

  1. The initial SOFT LIMIT is set 8000H (It can't work as SOFT LIMIT)
  2. The mechanical LIMIT is renewal by MANUAL SW of TELE to push direction or pull direction.
  3. If 4 pulse is not occurred in 1 sec. in running to push direction or pull direction at the first time, the mechanical LIMIT is set.
  4. In case of the difference of both limit pulse is over 120pulse, SOFT LIMIT is set at ±12PULSE from Mechanical limit.

Easy Access Operation

The Easy Access operation function controls Tilt & Telescope position according to IGN SW SCM = Key Off exception-->Key Off or Key Off-->Key Off exception.

If IGN SW SCM = Key Off exception is changed to IGN SW SCM = Key Off, Tilt and Telescope move to the maximum up SOFT LIMIT and PUSH SOFT LIMIT direction.

And if IGN SW SCM = Key Off is changed to IGN SW SCM = Key Off exception, Tilt and Telescope move to a position that IGN SW SCM = Key Off exception --> Key Off was occurred
