Note. Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components. Take care not to scratch the front seat, dashboard and related parts. Remove the shift knob by turning it counterclockwise.

Scheme 11: Special Tools Required
  1. Remove the center console as shown below.
  2. Install the center console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Replace any damaged clips. Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly. Push the clips and hooks into place securely. Install the shift knob in numbered sequence.

Scheme 12: Special Tools Required
  1. Remove the wind deflector as shown below.
  2. Install the wind deflector in the reverse order of removal. Apply liquid thread lock to the thread of the screws (A) before reinstallation. Make sure the caps are installed securely onto the screws.

  1. Remove these items: Center console (see «CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-221366-S37397327392006022400000) ) Rear tray (see «TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - REAR TRAY AREA»(ref-221365-S38909043212006022400000) ) Roll bar lower trim, both sides (see «TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - SEAT SIDE AREA»(ref-221365-S09878491562006022400000) )
  2. Remove the rear console as shown below.
  3. Install the rear console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Replace any damaged clips. Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly. Push the clips into place securely.
