Driver Seat

The driver seat has the following features

  1. manual lumbar
  2. horizontal, vertical and front and rear tilt power adjustments
  3. side air bag

Passenger Seat

The passenger seat has the following features

  1. horizontal power adjustment
  2. side air bag

Seats - Power Adjustment

Adjustment of the seat is accomplished with the seat regulator control switch located on the side of the seat.

Driver Seat - Manual Lumbar Support

The manual driver seat backrest lumbar is adjusted by a knob (57620) mounted on the front of the seat cushion.

Side Air Bag

Driver and passenger side air bags (611A08) are attached to the seat backrest frame. For diagnostic information or if the side air bag has been deployed, refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .

The seat backrest trim covers cannot be repaired. If the seat backrest covers need to be repaired, an entirely new cover must be installed. Cleaning the seat backrest cover is permissible.

If a side air bag deployment took place, a new seat back pad, trim cover and side air bag module must be installed.

Install a new seat backrest frame if necessary.

Possible Causes

An inoperative power seat can be caused by

  2. wiring, terminals, or connectors.
  3. a faulty power seat switch.
