TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

The steering column switches consist of the following components

  1. multifunction switch
  2. ignition switch

The integrated multifunction switch is mounted to the LH side of the steering column and controls the turn signals, hazard flasher, windshield wiper/washer control, and headlamp dimmer/flash-to-pass.

For information on the turn signals, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .

For information on the hazard flasher, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .

For information on the windshield wiper/washer control, refer to WIPERS AND WASHERS .

For information on the headlamp dimmer/flash-to-pass, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .

The ignition switch is mounted below the steering column and is activated by rotating the key lock cylinder on the steering column.
