DRAIN HOSES
Note. One drain hose is attached at each corner of the roof panel. The two front drain hoses are routed down the windshield pillars and into the cowl sides exiting at rocker panel drain holes. The two rear drain hoses are routed down the rear pillars, along the inside rear quarter panel and through the rear of the vehicle.
- Pour approximately 16 ounces water slowly into each drain tube and look at the front and rear of the vehicle to make sure water drains from drain hoses of the rocker panels and the rear quarter panels.
- If the water flow is restricted, blow out drain hose system with low pressure compressed air. Retest by pouring more water slowly into the drain system.
- Verify that the moon roof glass panel seal is not damaged. If the seal is damaged, a new moon roof glass panel must be installed. See «MOON ROOF GLASS PANEL»(ref-37900-S22269480632001011100000) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
MOON ROOF DOES NOT STOP FLUSH IN ANY POSITION
If moon roof does not stop flush in any position, check the following
- Moon roof motor assembly out of time.
- Faulty micro switch inside moon roof motor assembly.
- Faulty moon roof motor assembly.
- Faulty accessory relay.
- Open or shorted circuit in wiring.
If problem is found, repair or replace components as necessary. After repair, test moon roof for proper operation.
