Removal

WARNINGBefore beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to Safety Warnings in SERVICE INFORMATION General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.
  1. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions ( «HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS»(ref-515929-S17418754162012120400000) ). Refer to: «Engine Emission Control - Component Location»(ref-515998-S22178878062012120400000) ).
  2. Refer to: Intake Manifold ( «INTAKE MANIFOLD»(ref-515979-S09063073702012120400000) ).
  3. Release the bypass hose from the retainer clip and position aside.
  4. Remove the 8 bolts and crankcase vent oil separator.
  5. Remove and discard the gasket.

Installation

  1. Using a new gasket, install the crankcase vent oil separator and 8 bolts. Torque : 10 Nm
  2. Attach the bypass hose to the retainer clip.
  3. Refer to: Intake Manifold ( «INTAKE MANIFOLD»(ref-515979-S09063073702012120400000) ).
