  1. G1 RETRIEVE AND RECORD ALL DTCS Ignition ON. Connect the diagnostic tool. Using the scan tool, retrieve all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Is DTC P0A02:00 and/or P0A03:00 set? Yes : GO to G2 No : GO to «SYMPTOM CHART»(ref-566946-S20803242882013071700000) .
  2. G2 CHECK THE MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL INPUT Ignition OFF. Disconnect Motor Electronics Coolant Temperature Sensor C1817 . Ignition ON. Enter the following diagnostic mode: MTR_TEMP_V PID. Does the MTR_TEMP_V PID display 4.9 volts? Yes : GO to G3 No : REPAIR the circuit.
  3. G3 CHECK THE MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT Connect a fuse jumper wire between. Positive Lead Measurement/Action Negative Lead C1817-1 C1817-2 Does the PID display 0.0 volts? Yes : GO to G5 No : GO to G4
  4. G4 CHECK THE MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL VOLTAGE Measure the voltage between. Positive Lead Measurement/Action Negative Lead C1817-1 Ground Is the voltage between 4.8 and 5.1 volts? Yes : GO to G5 No : INSPECT and REPAIR the circuit. If an open circuit is not found, INSTALL a new PCM . REFER to: «POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)»(ref-566946-S42735124262013071700000) .

The high-voltage hybrid system utilizes approximately 300 volts DC, provided through high-voltage cables to its components and modules. The high-voltage cables and wiring are identified by orange harness tape or orange wire covering. All high-voltage components are marked with high-voltage warning labels with a high-voltage symbol. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury or death.
