- G2 CHECK THE MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL INPUT Ignition OFF. Disconnect Motor Electronics Coolant Temperature Sensor C1817 . Ignition ON. Enter the following diagnostic mode: MTR_TEMP_V PID. Does the MTR_TEMP_V PID display 4.9 volts? Yes : GO to G3 No : REPAIR the circuit.
- G3 CHECK THE MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT Connect a fuse jumper wire between. Positive Lead Measurement/Action Negative Lead C1817-1 C1817-2 Does the PID display 0.0 volts? Yes : GO to G5 No : GO to G4
