Removal

- Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions ( HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ). Refer to: Engine Ignition - Component Location .
- If equipped, remove the engine cover.
- Disconnect the 4 ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.
- Remove the 4 ignition coil-on-plug bolts. Torque : 10 Nm
- Remove the 4 ignition coil-on-plugs. Material : Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound / XG-3-A (ESE-M1C171-A)
Installation
- To install, slide the new ignition coil-on-plug boot onto the ignition coil until it is fully seated at the top of the ignition coil-on-plug.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
