Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Position the exterior mirror glass to the full upward and inward position.
2. NOTE: LH mirror and motor removed from the housing and from the back to show location of clips and placement of screwdriver. Remove the exterior mirror glass using a screwdriver to release the tabs starting at the lower outboard side of mirror and continuing around the mirror until all 4 tabs are released.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

1. NOTE: If required, install the 2 dampners on the LH exterior mirror glass.
2. WARNING: Place a shop towel between the hands and the exterior mirror glass for protection in case of glass breakage during mirror service. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Position the exterior mirror glass onto the exterior mirror motor.
4. NOTE: An audible click will be heard during installation. Firmly press the exterior mirror glass until it snaps onto the exterior mirror motor.
5. Rotate the exterior mirror glass in all directions after the installation to make sure that all of the exterior mirror glass retaining clips are completely fastened.

1. Remove the exterior mirror glass. REFER to «Exterior Mirror Glass»(ref-517613-S18376651162012121200000) .
2. Remove the 3 exterior mirror motor screws.
3. Disconnect the exterior mirror motor electrical connectors.
4. Remove the exterior mirror motor.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the exterior mirror glass. REFER to «Exterior Mirror Glass»(ref-517613-S18376651162012121200000) .
2. Remove the 4 exterior mirror bezel screws and bezel.
3. Press the 4 tabs and remove the exterior mirror cover.
