DTC U0401: INVALID DATA RECEIVED FROM ENGINE/POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) Ford Escape II

DescriptionThe traction battery control module (TBCM) continuously monitors the controller area network (CAN) for messages from the powertrain control module (PCM). This DTC is set when the message received from the PCM is out of expected range or contains invalid data.
Possible CausesCAN circuit
Diagnostic AidsNetwork DTC concerns occur during module-to-module communication. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK , Communication Network DTC Chart to continue diagnosis.
