- Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to «INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING»(ref-494599) .
- Remove the nut and position the EVAP canister purge valve aside. To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Disconnect the wire retainers and position aside the engine wire harness.
- Disconnect the 4 ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.
- Remove the 4 bolts and the 4 ignition coil-on-plugs. To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Inspect the coil boots for rips, nicks or tears. Remove and discard any damaged coil boots. To install, slide the new coil boot onto the coil until it is fully seated at the top of the coil.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure. Apply a small amount of silicone brake caliper grease and dielectric compound to the inside of the ignition coil-on-plug boots before installation.
