VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN)
Vehicle may be identified by Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stamped on metal plate, located on the left top side of the instrument panel, near windshield. The eighth character of VIN identifies engine, letter "Y" indicates a 2.0L DOHC (non-turbo) engine. The tenth character of VIN identifies model year ("S" for 1995 and "T" for 1996). Engine model code and serial number are stamped on right side of cylinder block, near front.
