DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
Power windows are operated by a permanent magnet type electric motor mounted in each door. A master control switch provides ground to each motor. Circuit breaker No. 19 (20-amp), located in junction block, is used to protect power window circuit. Changing polarity at each motor will cause motor to rotate in reverse direction.
Driver's master control switch has a lock-out feature that restricts passenger window operation when it is engaged. All switches are illuminated with LEDs located inside switch. LEDs have power all the time except when lock-out feature is engaged.
