- Raise and support vehicle. Refer to «HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE»(ref-481392-S03705606742012062200000).
- Remove both front halfshafts. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-481402-S26056269572012062200000).
- Remove front intermediate shaft assembly. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-481402-S26056269572012062200000).
- Remove front propeller shaft. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-481401-S38279247952012062200000).
- Remove RH catalytic converter/exhaust pipe assembly. Refer to «CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, REMOVAL»(ref-481405-S13204078982012062200000).
- Separate power steering return line (3) from cradle by unfastening clips (1). (Scheme 1)
- Remove front axle housing support bracket (1). (Scheme 2)
- Remove seven front axle assembly-to-oil pan bolts. Remove axle assembly (1) from vehicle. (Scheme 3)
