Note. The arrows on the engine mounts must be located in the retaining slots on the engine bracket.
- Position the engine mount (3) on the crossmember.
- Install the engine mount lower bolt (4). Tighten the bolt to 35 N.m (26 ft. lbs.). NOTE: The recesses of the heat shield must be located in the anti twist slots of the engine bracket.
- Lower the engine onto the engine mount. Install the heat shield (2) and the engine mount upper bolt (1).
- Tighten the engine mount upper bolt (1) to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
- Install the lower splash shield and screws (1). Tighten to 7 N.m (5 ft. lbs.).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the engine support frame from the engine.
- Install the air cleaner housing. «(Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION)»(ref-250615-S14278514492007031500000) .
- Connect the negative battery cable.

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
- Remove the rear mount lower bolts (3).
- Raise the transmission slightly off of the rear crossmember.
- Remove the rear mount upper bolts (1).
- Remove the rear mount.
- Position the rear mount on the transmission.
- Install the rear mount upper bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
- Lower the transmission on to the rear crossmember.
- Install the rear mount lower bolts (3). Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
- Remove the transmission jack.
- Lower the vehicle.
