Low Beam Bulb, Replacing

Removing

1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
2. Turn light switch into "0" position.
3. Remove appropriate front wheel.
4. Remove appropriate front wheel housing liner --> «66 - EXTERIOR EQUIPMENT»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/door-locks-anti-theft-systems/#body-exterior) .

Scheme 153

1. Loosen locking bolt - 1 - a few turns.
2. Release retainer tabs - arrows - and detach low beam housing cover from headlamp housing.

Scheme 154

1. Turn socket counter-clockwise - arrow - and remove from headlamp housing.

Scheme 155

1. Remove bulb - 1 - from socket - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following

1. Insert new bulb into socket, do not touch glass cone with bare hands when doing so.
2. Secure socket by turning clockwise.
3. Close housing cover and secure with screw.
4. Install front wheel housing liner --> «66 - EXTERIOR EQUIPMENT»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/door-locks-anti-theft-systems/#body-exterior) .
