Side Blind Control Module, Removing and Installing

  1. Remove door trim --> «Rear Door Trim, Removing and Installing»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior__rear-door-trim-removing-and-installing) .
  2. Remove electric sun shade housing --> «Power Sun Shade Housing, Removing and Installing»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior__power-sun-shade-housing-removing-and) .
  1. Remove drive motor for electric sun shade --> «Power Sun Shade Drive Motor, Removing and Installing»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior__power-sun-shade-drive-motor-removing) .
  2. Disengage Side Blind Control Module J719 - 8 - and slide Side Blind Control Module J719 - 8 - out of mount.

Note. The software version appears as a three digit number in small print behind the original part number. Software less than 004 must not be installed in the vehicle.
