Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

  1. Torque wrench V.A.G 1783/

Removing

  1. Remove door trim --> «Front Door Trim, Removing and Installing»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior__front-door-trim-removing-and-installing) .
  2. Remove insulation --> «Insulation, Removing and Installing»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior) and --> «Front Door Trim, Removing and Installing»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior__front-door-trim-removing-and-installing) .
  3. Remove armrest --> «Armrest, Removing and Installing»(/audi/s8/d3-2007-2011/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior) .

  1. Remove bolts - 5 - (qty. 2).
  1. Tightening torque 2 Nm.
  1. Remove screw - 4 -.
  1. Tightening torque 2 Nm.
  1. Pull out front part - 3 - of armrest - 1 - from guide - 2 -.
  2. Slide down cover - 6 - toward rear.

Installing

  1. Assemble armrest in reverse order of disassembly.
