Scheme 115

1. Bring windshield wiper into service position --> «Windshield Wipers, Bringing into Service Position»(/audi/a8/d3-2005-2007/remont/cruise-control-systems/#electrical-equipment__windshield-wipers-bringing-into-service-position) .
2. Switch off ignition.
3. Lift off wiper arm from front windshield.
4. Slide retaining clip - 2 - off from wiper arm - 3 - in - direction of arrow -.

1. Remove wiper blade - 1 - downward from wiper arm.

Installing

Scheme 116

1. Insert joint of wiper arm in guide at wiper blade - arrow 1 -. Make sure joint is fully in position in guide.
2. Lock wiper blade by sliding on retaining clip - arrow 2 -.
3. Switch ignition on and activate "one-touch wiping" , the wipers then leave the "service position".
