  1. Remove noise insulation.
  2. Remove dipstick.
  3. Drain engine oil.
  4. Disconnect connector -1- from oil level sensor.
  5. Remove oil pan lower part -arrow-.
  6. Remove oil grid -arrows-.
  7. Loosen bolt for oil pump pulley.
  8. Secure chain tensioner with spring pin -arrow-.
  9. Remove oil pump pulley.
  10. Remove oil pump and take out downward.

TIGHTENING TORQUES: OIL PUMP

  1. Install lower oil pan. See «INSTALLING»(ref-196260-S05166457532005100700000) .

Oil capacity (with new oil filter)

See ENGINE OIL, FILLING .

CAUTIONDO NOT overfill with oil past the MAX mark on the oil dipstick. Damage to the Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) could result.
