Input shaft, disassembling and assembling

- Gearbox housing Servicing. See TRANSMISSION HOUSING, SERVICING.
- Circlip
- Thrust washer
- Needle bearing for 4th gear Mark before removing Do not interchange with needle bearing for 3rd gear Oil with gear oil before installing
- 4th speed sliding gear Before installing, insert spring. See INSERTING SPRING IN SLIDING GEAR. After installing, check axial clearance with a feeler gauge (0.15-0.35 mm)
- Synchro-ring for 4th gear Check for wear. See CHECKING SYNCHRO-RING FOR WEAR.
- Locking collar Paired with synchro-hub Mark before removing. (Scheme 322)
- Circlip Re-determine thickness when replacing synchro-hub. See RE-DETERMINING THICKNESS OF CIRCLIP. Installation position: ends align with groove of synchro-hub
- Synchro-hub for 3rd and 4th gear Pressing off. See PRESSING OFF SYNCHRO-HUB FOR 3RD AND 4TH GEAR. Installation position. See SYNCHRO-HUB INSTALLATION POSITION. Pressing on. See PRESSING ON SYNCHRO-HUB FOR 3RD AND 4TH GEAR.
- Synchro-ring for 3rd gear Coated with molybdenum Check for wear. See CHECKING SYNCHRO-RING FOR WEAR.
- 3rd speed sliding gear Before installing, insert spring. See INSERTING SPRING IN SLIDING GEAR. After pressing on -item 9-, check axial clearance with a feeler gauge (0.15-0.35 mm)
- Needle bearing for 3rd gear Mark before removing Do not interchange with needle bearing for 4th gear Oil with gear oil before installing
- Input shaft
- Spring pin Drive in when replacing input shaft. See DRIVING SPRING PIN INTO INPUT SHAFT.
- Bearing plate Servicing. See BEARING PLATE, SERVICING.
- Inner race for cylinder roller bearing Take off and fit by hand
- Circlip
- Thrust washer for needle bearing for 6th gear Installation position: shoulder towards circlip, smooth contact surface towards needle bearing. (Scheme 342)
- Needle bearing for 6th gear Oil with gear oil before installing
- 6th speed sliding gear Before installing, insert spring. See INSERTING SPRING IN SLIDING GEAR. After installing, check axial clearance with a feeler gauge (0.15-0.35 mm)
- Synchro-ring for 6th gear Check for wear. See CHECKING SYNCHRO-RING FOR WEAR.
- Synchro-hub for 5th and 6th gear Pulling off. (Scheme 323) Driving on. (Scheme 344) Installation position: projecting hub towards 5th speed sliding gear
- Locking collar Paired with synchro-hub Mark before removing. (Scheme 322)
- Synchro-ring for 5th gear Checking for wear. See CHECKING SYNCHRO-RING FOR WEAR.
- 5th speed sliding gear Before installing, insert spring. See INSERTING SPRING IN SLIDING GEAR. After installing, check axial clearance. (Scheme 353)
- Inner race for 5th speed sliding gear Pulling off. (Scheme 323) Driving on. (Scheme 352)
- Needle bearing for 5th gear Oil with gear oil before installing
- 1st inner race for tapered roller bearing for input shaft Pulling off. (Scheme 317) Driving on. (Scheme 353)

- Multi-point socket head bolt, 150 Nm Loosening and tightening. (Scheme 315)
