Test requirements

  1. There must be no malfunctions stored in the DTC memory. --> Diagnostic Mode 3: Interrogating DTC memory .
  2. Coolant temperature must be 80 to 110° C.

Procedure

  1. Connect diagnostic tester. --> Diagnostic tester, connecting .
  2. Start engine and let run at idle.
  3. In diagnostic function "address word 33 - OBD" , select "Diagnostic mode 1: Obtain data". --> Diagnostic Mode 1: Obtain data .
  4. Select measured value "PID 01".
  1. Observe right 8-digit number block.

If all of the diagnostics have run through successfully, the following 8-digit number block must appear
