- 1 - Noise insulation Remove the bolts -2- from the subframe and the bolts -3- from the wheel housing liner and pull the noise insulation to the rear. When installing, ensure noise insulation slides in as shown in the detailed illustration see scheme 1
- 2 - Combi-bolt 6 NM
- 3 - Self-tapping screw 2 NM
- 4 - Wheel housing liner
- 5 - Subframe
- 6 - Lock carrier

Slide noise insulation -3- as shown into lower lock carrier -2-.
The narrow latches -arrow a- must be slid below or wide latches -arrow b- slid above the lock carrier edge -2-.
Retaining tabs must engage over wide tabs in lock carrier holes when doing so.
Scheme 35
- Remove the screws -1-, -2- and -6- from the frame and remove the noise insulation toward the rear.
- Installation is the reverse of removal.
Note. Make sure the noise insulation is pushed in from the front when installing.
