  1. Lower the door glass fully.
  2. Remove the tweeter cover (A). With your hand, carefully pull out the top edge of the tweeter cover to detach the hooks (B) and the clips. Disconnect the tweeter connector (C).
  3. Remove the door panel (see «FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exterior-body-panels/#doors-v6__front-door-panel-removalinstallation) ).
  4. Disconnect the power mirror connector (A).
  5. While holding the mirror (B), remove the nuts securing the mirror.
  6. Release the catch (A) from the hole in the door, then remove the mirror (B).
  7. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Make sure each connector is plugged in properly. Replace any damaged clips with new ones. Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.

Mirror Holder Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

  1. Carefully push on the top edge of the mirror holder (A) by hand.
  2. Put a shop towel in the opening between the bottom edge of the mirror holder and the mirror housing (B) to prevent scratches. Insert a flat-tip screwdriver to the guide notches (C) of the mirror holder, and detach the bottom clips (D).
  3. Apply heat with a heat gun to the gap between the mirror holder (A) and the mirror housing (B). Carefully pull out the bottom edge of the mirror holder to separate the adhesive (C), and then release the side hooks (D). NOTE: Do not heat the plastic parts too much or you may damage them.
  4. Separate the mirror holder from the actuator (E) by releasing the hooks (F), and disconnect the mirror defogger connectors (G).
  5. Before reinstalling the mirror holder to the actuator (A), check the actuator rods (B) and the actuator boots (C). NOTE: Make sure each actuator rod is inserted into the actuator securely, and each actuator boot is fully seated on the actuator.
  6. Reconnect the mirror defogger connectors.
  7. Reattach the hooks on the mirror holder to the actuator, then position the mirror holder on the actuator. Carefully push on the side hooks of the mirror holder until the mirror holder locks into place.
  8. Check the actuator operation.

  1. Slide the rearview mirror harness upper cover (A) forward to release it from the headliner (B). Pry out the rearview mirror harness lower cover (C) to release the hooks (D), then slide the lower cover rearward, and remove the lower cover by releasing the hooks (E) on the rearview mirror harness cover base (F).
  2. Disconnect the rearview mirror connector (A).
  3. Loosen the screw with a TORX T20 bit, then slide the rearview mirror (A) rearward and off the mount (B). (Scheme 10): Identifying Rearview Mirror And Mount
  4. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Before installing the mirror, remove the TORX screw, and apply medium strength liquid thread lock to it. Make sure the connector is plugged in properly. Push the hooks into place securely.
