'04-05 Models
Note. Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the front bumper. Take care not to scratch the front bumper and body. Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Scheme 1
- Remove the front bumper as shown.
- Install the bumper in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones. Make sure the front bumper engages the hooks of the side spacers and upper beams on both sides securely.
'06-08 Models
Note. Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the front bumper. Take care not to scratch the front bumper and body. Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Scheme 2
- Remove the front bumper as shown.
- Install the bumper in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones. Make sure the front bumper engages the hooks of the side spacers and upper beams on both sides securely.

Scheme 3
- Remove the bolts securing the front bumper (A).
- Pull the front air spoiler (B) back to detach the hooks (C), and then remove the spoiler.
- Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal.
Note. Take care not to scratch the front bumper. Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Scheme 4
- Remove the bolts securing the front bumper (A).
- Pull the front air spoiler (B) back to detach the hooks (C), and then remove the spoiler.
- Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal.
Front Bumper Lower Grille Replacement
Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857
Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components. Take care not to scratch the front bumper.

- Remove the front bumper, '04-05 models (see «'04-05 MODELS»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system__04-05-models) ), '06-08 models (see «'06-08 MODELS»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system__06-08-models) ).
- Remove the license plate.
- Remove the screw (A), and bolts (B), then remove the license plate base (C) from the front bumper (D).
- From the back of the front bumper (A), remove the screws securing the from the front bumper lower grille (B).
- Detach the hooks (A) on the bottom of the front bumper lower grille (B), and pull out the grille.
- Install the grille in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Push the hooks into place securely. Release the speed nuts with new ones.
Front Bumper Side Cover Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components. Take care not to scratch the front bumper.
Scheme 8
- Remove the front bumper (see «FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system) ).
- From the back of the front bumper (A), release the hooks (B), and pull out the front bumper side cover (C).
- Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and push the hooks into place securely.
Rear Bumper Removal/Installation
Note. Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the rear bumper. Take care not to scratch the rear bumper and body. Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Scheme 9
- Remove the rear bumper as shown.
- Install the bumper in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones. Make sure the rear bumper engages the hooks of the side spacers, side brackets and upper brackets on both sides securely.
