Error code: XM ANTENNA is displayed (without AcuraLink)

Note. Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ). Check the connectors for poor connection or loose terminals. Check for other error codes (see XM SELF-DIAGNOSIS ), and check the XM Antenna Signal Reception Level (see XM SIGNAL RECEPTION LEVEL INDICATION MODE ).

1. Check the connector at the XM receiver. Is the connector connected? YES -Go to step 2. NO -Reconnect the connector(s). If the error message does not go away, go to step 2.
2. Check the connector at the XM antenna. Is the connector connected? YES -Go to step 3. NO -Reconnect the connector(s). If the error message does not go away, go to step 3.
3. Substitute a known-good XM antenna (see «XM ANTENNA REPLACEMENT»(/acura/mdx/ii-2010-2013/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system) ). Is the error message gone? YES -Replace the original XM antenna (see «XM ANTENNA REPLACEMENT»(/acura/mdx/ii-2010-2013/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system) ). NO -Go to step 4.
4. Substitute a known-good XM receiver (see «ACURALINK CONTROL UNIT (XM RECEIVER) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/mdx/ii-2010-2013/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system) ). Is the error message gone? YES -Substitute a known-good XM antenna lead, and recheck. If the XM receiver receives a signal, replace the original XM antenna lead. If the symptom/indication is still present, replace the original XM receiver (see «ACURALINK CONTROL UNIT (XM RECEIVER) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/mdx/ii-2010-2013/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system) ). NO -Replace the XM antenna lead.
