Audio Remote Switch Test

- Remove the driver's airbag (see «DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT»(/acura/mdx/ii-2010-2013/remont/airbag/#srs-supplemental-restraint-system__drivers-airbag-replacement) ).
- Remove the 20P connector (A) from the cable reel.
- Measure the resistance between terminals No. 19 and No. 20 in each switch position according to the table. Position Resistance No button pressed About 10 kohms MODE About 3.7 kohms CH (+) About 1.7 kohms CH (-) About 775 ohms (VOL. UP)↑ About 357 ohms (VOL. DOWN)↓ About 100 ohms
- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch (see «AUDIO REMOTE SWITCH TEST»(/acura/mdx/ii-2010-2013/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system__audio-remote-switch-test) ).
- Use a diode tester between terminals in each switch position according to the table.
- If the diode test is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch (see «AUDIO REMOTE SWITCH TEST»(/acura/mdx/ii-2010-2013/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system__audio-remote-switch-test) ).
