Tightening Torque
Tighten the screws in the following order
- 381 to 8 Nm
- 376 to 12 Nm
- 377 to 12 Nm
- 374 to 12 Nm
- 375 to 12 Nm
- 378 to 12 Nm
- 384 to 12 Nm
- 379 to 12 Nm
- 380 to 25 Nm
Check tighten all the screws. see scheme 54
Drain Off The Remaining Oil In The Torque Converter And The Oil Cooler
Disconnect the oil return line at the transmission and install a plastic hose. Drain off the old oil.
Tightening The Screws For The Bevel Gear/Chain Housing
Note. Lightly tighten the 3 M10 screws alternately. see scheme 142 The screw for the bevel gear/bracket on the engine is on top of the bevel gear and can be accessed from the center. Tighten.
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
| CAUTION | Screws coated with locking fluid or sealant must be replaced with new when reinstalled. |
Always use new screws and nuts when angle tightening. Any exceptions to this rule will be indicated in the method.
