Installing

1. Tighten the center console locker and cover at the rear edge on the center console.
2. Reinstall the cigarette lighter and panel
3. Applies to the V70 with a handset in the center console locker: Connect the connector for the handset to the connector at the rear edge of the center console. Press the connectors into the holder
4. Reinstall the connector for the inner holder in the rear edge of the center console
5. Reinstall the inner holder in the center console
6. Reinstall the ashtray or the cover in the inner holder
7. Reinstall the rear end of the center console.

Applies to the V70 with a handset in the center console locker

1. Install the new handset holder according to the appropriate installation instructions.

Scheme 620

1. Remove the panel from the rear edge of the center console. Carefully pry off the panel using a plastic weatherstrip tool. The panel will not be reused.

1. Remove the holder for the panel. Pry the securing hooks downwards at the upper edge on both sides. Use a small screwdriver. Pull out the holder at the upper edge.

1. Disconnect the grey connectors from the holder. Carefully angle the connectors out slightly at the upper edge until they release from the catches on the holder. Slide the connectors towards the upper edge of the holder until they release
2. Pull off the black connector
3. Place the holder for the panel to one side. It will not be reused.

1. Press the ashtray and the connectors on the reverse
2. Hook the ashtray onto the lower edge of the center console. Fold the ashtray up. Press into place at the upper edge.

Applies to 5-point seat belts

1. Release upholstery at upper edge and pull forward.
2. Note which group of holes the shoulder straps are routed through.
3. Remove the shoulder straps (1) by pulling through the holes.

Applies to 5-point seat belts

1. Install the baby insert.
2. At the appropriate height thread the shoulder straps through the holes in insert, upholstery and seat back.
3. Thread the shoulder strap locking washers through the holes as illustrated.
4. Check that the locking washers are correctly positioned.

Applies to 5-point seat belts

1. Fold the upholstery back and press into place with the two clips.
2. Straighten the upholstery.

Applies to 4-point seat belts

1. Thread the child seat harness through the holes in the baby insert.

Applies to 4-point seat belts

1. Position the baby insert correctly in the child seat and pull the harness lap belt forward.

Scheme 629

Applies to both the belts

1. Adjust the baby insert according to the child's height by moving the upper collar upwards or downwards.

Scheme 630

1. Remove the cover. Using a coin or similar, insert the coin in the groove. Carefully twist the cover loose.

Scheme 631

1. Install the screws and washers in the mounting hook. Install one washer on the short screw in the front hole. Install three washers on the longer screw in the rear hole
2. Secure the mounting hook in place. Tighten the screws a quarter turn.
