  1. Ignition off. Check fuse F4 in the fusebox in the engine compartment. Also check the circuit after the fuse. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check the fuse for the power socket in the cargo compartment on the central electronic module (CEM). Also check the circuit after the fuse. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check the cable between the accessory electronic module (AEM) and the ground terminal. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Connect a voltmeter between the power supply cable and ground at the accessory electronic module (AEM). The voltage must be approximately 12V with the ignition switched off. Check the ground terminal for the accessory electronic module (AEM). Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
