Location of components
The graphic shows the approximate location of the network modules. Modules A-E are slave modules while the others are master modules. The slave modules communicate through a master module using serial communication.
There may be more slave modules depending on the equipment level.

Scheme 12
Previously each function had its own Control module, for example cruise control, alarm, turn signal lamps, rear demist and so on. On the P2X a function can be split between a number of modules, each of which has a particular task within the overall function. It is also possible to introduce more logic functions without needing more cables, connections and switches.
