Crankcase Ventilation Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
Tighten the crankcase ventilation bolts in sequence -1 through 10- to 11 Nm.
Cylinder Head Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
Tighten the new cylinder head cover bolts in 3 passes in sequence -1 through 6- as follows
1. Tighten the bolts by hand.
2. Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.
3. Tighten the bolts an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
Cylinder Head, Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
Tighten the new cylinder head bolts in 3 passes in sequence -1 through 5- as follows
1. Tighten the bolts to 40 Nm.
2. Tighten the bolts an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
3. Tighten the bolts an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
4. Tighten the new bolts -arrows- to 8 Nm.
5. Tighten the bolts -arrows- an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
Upper Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
Tighten bolts in 2 passes in sequence -1 through 5- as follows
1. Tighten the bolts by hand.
2. Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm.
Lower Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
Tighten the bolts in 3 passes in sequence -1 through 15- as follows
1. Tighten the bolts by hand.
2. Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.
3. Tighten the bolts an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
Intermediate Shaft Sprocket Bolt Tightening Specification
Tighten the bolt in 4 passes as follows
1. Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm.
2. Turn the sprocket.
The sprocket must not have any play; if so, loosen and tighten again.
3. Tighten the bolt to 30 Nm.
4. Tighten the bolt an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
