PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG). Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes. Check if DTCs are output. Result Result Proceed to P0C30-390 only is output. A DTCs other than P0C30-390 are output. B Turn the ignition switch off. B --> See step 2 A --> See step 3

B DTC No. Relevant Diagnosis P0A93-346 Inverter Cooling System Performance P0C73-776 Motor Electronics Coolant Pump "A" Control Performance P314A-828 Inverter Coolant Pump Speed Signal HINT: P0C39-626 or P0C3C-625 may be set due to a malfunction which also causes DTCs in the preceding table to be set. In this case, first troubleshoot the output DTCs in the preceding table. Then, perform a test to attempt to reproduce the problems, and check that no DTCs are output. Turn the ignition switch off. Scheme 205: CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  3. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
  4. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
  5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  6. Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY). [A]
  7. Wait for 2 minutes or more.
  8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes. [B]
  9. Read the current DTCs. HINT: If a current DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning. If a current DTC is not output, perform the following procedure.
  10. Check that permanent DTCs are cleared. If no permanent DTC is output, the system is normal.
  11. If the permanent DTCs are not cleared, perform a universal trip, and then check for permanent DTCs again.

Charge the HV battery using the THS charger as necessary. Cranking the engine once causes the SOC to drop approximately 1%.   11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK AND NO. 2 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) Disconnect connector C23 from the shift lever position sensor. Remove the IGCT NO. 2 fuse from the No. 2 engine room relay block and No. 2 junction block assembly. Disconnect connectors A38 and A39 from the power management control ECU. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Connect the shift lever position sensor connector. Connect the power management control ECU connectors. NG --> See step 13 OK --> REPLACE FUSE (IGCT NO. 2)

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK AND NO. 2 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) Remove the IGCT MAIN fuse, IGCT NO. 2 fuse, IGCT NO. 3 fuse and PCU fuse from the No. 2 engine room relay block and No. 2 junction block assembly.
