- Check Light Check that the headlamp and the tail lamp comes on. NG : Flow Chart (Go To Flow Chart Of Headlight Or Taillight) OK : Go to Next Step
- Read Value Of Hand-Held Tester Connect the hand-held tester to DLC3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and push the hand-held tester main SW ON. Select the item "AUTO LIGHT SW" in the DATA LIST, and read its value displayed on the hand-held tester. OK: Light control SW AUTO --> ON Light control SW except AUTO --> OFF NG : Go to step 5 OK : Go to Next Step
- Check Automatic Light Control Sensor Measure voltage between terminals as shown in the chart below. Check the continuity between terminal 3 (CLTE) and body ground as shown in the chart below. Using an oscilloscope, check that signal waveform appears between terminals. Standard: AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR CONNECTOR TERMINALS SPECIFIED CONDITIONS Terminal No. (Symbol) Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 (CLTB) 1 - 3 Constant 10 - 14 V 3 (CLTE) 3 - Body ground Constant Continuity 4 (CLTS) 4-3 IG SW ON Dimmer SW AUTO Signal waveform appears depending on outside brightness NG : Replace Automatic Light Control Sensor OK : Go to Next Step

Standard: Bar appears Measure voltage between terminals B6-6 (CLTB) and B6-21 (CLTE) of the multiplex network body ECU. Standard: 10-14 V Check the continuity between terminal B6-21 (CLTE) of the multiplex network body ECU and body ground. - Check Rear Door Lock Check which door lamp does not light up. Measure voltage between terminals when unlocking the door. Standard: NG : Replace Rear Door Lock OK : Go to Next Step

- Check Drive Side Junction Block Measure voltage between terminal 1D-5 (ACC) of the driver side junction block and body ground. Standard: DRIVE SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK CHECK IG SW Specified Condition ACC 10-14 V OFF Below 1 V OK : Go to step 12 NG : Go to Next Step
- Check Harness And Connector (Between Driver Side Junction Block And Ignition Switch Assy) Check the continuity between terminal 1D-5 (ACC) of the driver side junction block and the ignition switch assy. Standard: NG : Repair Or Replace Harness Or Connector OK : Replace Ignition Or Starter Switch Assy
- Check Drive Side Junction Block (ILE) Measure voltage between terminals as shown in the chart below when turning the ignition switch to OFF. Standard: NG : Check And Replace Drive Side Junction Block OK : Go to Next Step
- Check Harness And Connector (Between Driver Side Junction Block And Lamp) Disconnect the connector of the driver side junction block. Check the continuity between terminals as shown in the chart below. - Check Multiplex Network Body ECU Measure voltage between terminals when opening the front door LH only. Standard: MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU CHECK Front Door LH Tester Connection Specified Condition Close B5-23 (DCTY) - Body Ground 10-14 V Open B5-23 (DCTY) - Body Ground Below 1 V OK : Check And Replace Multiplex Network Body ECU NG : Go to Next Step
- Inspect Courtesy Lamp Switch (Driver Side Door) Inspect the front door courtesy lamp switch continuity. Check that there is a continuity between terminal 1 and body ground when operating the switch. Standard: ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity NG : Replace Courtesy Lamp Switch (Driver Side Door) OK : Go to Next Step
- Check Harness And Connector (Between Multiplex Network Body ECU And Front Door Courtesy Lamp Switch LH) Disconnect the connector of the multiplex network body ECU. Check the continuity between terminal B5-23 (DCTY) and the front door courtesy lamp switch. Standard: There is continuity. NG : Repair Or Replace Harness Or Connector OK : Go to Next Step
- Check Multiplex Network Body ECU Measure voltage between terminals when opening the front door RH only. Standard: FRONT DOOR RH CHECK (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) Front Door RH Tester Connection Specified Condition Close B5-24 (PCTY) - Body Ground 10 - 14 V Open B5-24 (PCTY) - Body Ground Below 1 V OK : Check And Replace Multiplex Network Body ECU NG : Go to Next Step
- Inspect Courtesy Lamp Switch (Passenger Side Door) Inspect front door courtesy lamp switch continuity. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground when switch operating the switch. Standard: ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity NG : Replace Courtesy Lamp Switch (Passenger Side Door) OK : Go to Next Step
- Check Harness And Connector (Between Multiplex Network Body ECU And Front Door Couretesy Lamp Switch RH) Disconnect the connector of the multiplex network body ECU. Check the continuity between terminal B5-24 (PCTY) and the front door courtesy lamp switch. Standard: There is continuity. NG : Repair Or Replace Harness Or Connector OK : Go to Next Step
- Check Multiplex Network Body ECU Measure voltage between terminals when opening the rear door LH only. Standard: REAR DOOR LH CHECK (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) Rear door LH Tester Connection Specified Condition Close B5-11 (RLCY) - Body Ground 10 - 14 V Open B5-11 (RLCY) - Body Ground Below 1 V OK : Check And Replace Multiplex Network Body ECU NG : Go to Next Step
- Inspect Courtesy Lamp Switch (Rear Door RH) Inspect rear door courtesy lamp switch RH continuity. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground when operating the switch. Standard: ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity NG : Replace Courtesy Lamp Switch (Rear Door RH) OK : Go to Next Step
- Check Harness And Connector (Between Multiplex Network Body ECU And Rear Door Courtesy Lamp Switch LH) Disconnect the connector of the multiplex network body ECU.
