ENGINE IDENTIFICATION

Engine can be identified by engine code number in sixth character position of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The VIN is stamped on a metal plate located on upper right side of firewall or on upper left corner of dash behind windshield. Engine serial number is stamped on a machined pad located on upper left rear of cylinder block.
