PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Clear the DTC. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612250-S01413683982014042900000) . Check for DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612250-S01413683982014042900000) . RESULT Result Proceed to DTC B2311 is output A DTC B2314 is output B B --> See step 6 A: Go to next step
  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Master Switch / Data List. According to the display on the Techstream read the Data List. Disconnect the E5 power window regulator motor assembly connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Inspect the power window regulator motor assembly. Refer to «INSPECTION [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612430-S39510651692014042900000) . NG --> See step 12 OK: Go to next step
  5. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Temporarily replace the power window regulator master switch assembly with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to «REMOVAL [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612430-S08305805372014042900000) . Check the power window regulator master switch assembly operates. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612250-S14124706882014042900000) . OK Driver door power window operates normally.   9. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Temporarily replace the power window regulator switch assembly with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612250-S14124706882014042900000) . OK Front passenger side door power window operates normally.   10. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Temporarily replace the power window regulator master switch assembly with a new or normally functioning one.   1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION Turn the ignition switch to ON. Initialize the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly. Refer to «INITIALIZATION [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612250-S35237050992014042900000) . NEXT: Go to next step
  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Clear the DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612250-S01413683982014042900000) . Check for DTCs. HINT: Check for DTCs for the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly that has DTC B2313 or B2316 stored in its ECU.   1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH) Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the power window regulator master switch assembly. Check that the remote UP/DOWN function operates normally. OK Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally. NG --> See step 4 OK: Go to next step

Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Master Switch / Active Test. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream. WARNING: Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function will not operate. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.   6. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to «REMOVAL [07/2013 - ]»(ref-612430-S08305805372014042900000)
