The ICE system (Integrated Central Electronics) is a programmable electronic control module which replaces or controls a number of relays and supervises and sends out information to or receives it from various components. (Scheme 1)

INTERMITTENT OPERATION WITHOUT WASHING
The ICE controls the intermittent operation for the windscreen and the rear window. When the switch for the windscreen and the switch for the rear window are in position "intermittent operation" voltage is supplied to terminal 39 (windscreen) and terminal 62 (rear window) in the ICE. The ICE grounds the 2 intermittent operation relays via terminal 59 (windscreen) and terminal 7 (rear window) for about 2 seconds. The wipers start with 2 strokes after which the ICE grounds the relays for about 0.5 seconds with an interval of 7 seconds. The wipers thus do 1 stroke every 7 seconds. The programming in the ICE ensures that after 1 stroke (8 seconds) the windscreen wiper and the rear window wiper are already synchronized and move simultaneously. (Scheme 5)

The first variant of the Main Instrument Panel is without a tachometer. Both variants are found in 2 versions: miles/h and km/h. The main instrument with tachometer can be supplied with/without a turbo pressure gauge. (Scheme 6)
